What causes your Norton to be shut off?

It's quite possible that Norton shut itself off. A glitch could've occurred or another program could be the culprit. Norton does some weird things; example: a version of Norton caused "zombie processes". Explanation: whenever a process was ended, Norton kept it alive which quickly murdered system resources.
