Actually, Rosalina Debuted in Super Mario Galaxy, where she was quite the opposite of evil. She guides Mario/Luigi through space and once they collect enough power stars to fuel the ship, she and her Lumas help defeat Bowser and rescue Peach, as well as save the Galaxy.
