The Lemonade Diet, also knows as the Master Cleanse diet , was created by Dr. Stanley Borroughs in the 40s. The Diet is essentially a fast where one consumes nothing but water, Lemon Juice, Cayenne Pepper and Maple Syrup for a few days up until 2 weeks.
