Was Bernie's house on the Bernie Mac Show real or a set at a studio?

I know im like 9 years late but the tv show house address is 15814 Sutton St, Encino, CA 91436. If you watch some episodes when Bernie was outside in the front yard standing by the mailbox, they show the address. They also mention Encino in later episodes.
