Akandi Y Stephen

Akand Stephen Yaw is the second born of seven children of Mr. and Mrs Akand Alodena who hail from Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region in the Republic of Ghana but have stayed at Mim for over 30 years.

He is fair in complexion and one of his favourite activities is Surfing the internet and writing computer programs during his leisure time. He also has a terrible hobby;

exploring the forest. He is very interested to watching birds whistling and snakes wraggling as he moves about in jungle forest. This sometimes give him a tough time as he comes across dangerous animals in the forest.

Stephen had his primary and Juniior secondary school at Mim in the Brong-Ahafo Region.

He wanted to know more about the culture of his people in the Upper-East Region. He therefore chose to attend Senior Secondary School at Navrongo where he successfully completed his Science Program in the year 2005.

History of the School do not forget about him for the wonderfull things he did when he was there.

He received several awards on many issues ranging from promption of Human Rights to Participation in quiz competitions for the school.

One of his favourite philosophies is that, "Anyone can do everything provided he trust himself".

Akandi is currently pursuing Engineering degree program in the countrie's premier university

(University Ghana, Legon).

He has started working on a project which is meant to re-structure the whole world in terms of technology relating ICT.

I believe that he can pursue this task because Akandi believes that every thing worthy of praise from people do not happen without some amount of challenges. With this in mind, he will not give up no matter the number of times his plans fail.
