How do you stop your gerbil from tipping over his food bowl?

If the bowl is heavy, your gerbil should find it difficult to tip it over. I suggest a china bowl. If this doesn't stop him, try gluing the bowl to the floor.

We tend to just feed our gerbils (mind you we own over 40 gerbils and own many champion gerbils) on the ground. The food will get buried, but it lets the gerbils forage for there food and therefore simulates a natural habitate.

My way might be a bit expensive but it works. I have a plastic cage from pets at home and it has a special hole at the top of the cage. The food bowl slots into it and it therefore impossible for it to get tipped over.
