+ Follow

Yes. In the flock that I monitor there is a goose that has a lame leg...he limps all the time and finds it difficult to walk. He is always followed by his two siblings who walk along side him. When he needs to sit down, they sit down with him. When he is ready to get up, they walk too. When they catch up with the family, the entire group moves on.

Canadas are not like human beings who sometimes believe that the old, weak and infirm are to be disgarded. They will always protect their family members, regardless of what condition they are in.
