According to Epic Dental, it contains 0.17 gm. In any case, I think it is safe to assume that it is significantly less than 1 gm and therefore not high enough to prevent decay. If you want to prevent decay, studies suggest chewing 1-2 grams, 4-6 times every day. I don't believe there are any over-the-counter gums you can buy in stores which have high enough xylitol levels. You can buy xylitol gums over the internet which have 1 gm per stick.
