How do you remove the center console from a 1999 trans am?

On the top of the dash there is the little strip. Mine hase two little speakers on each side. You can just lift up on the strip its just held down with some clips. under there are some bolts that hold down the top part of the dash. so that's about as far as I went. All I had to do was take out the radio to install some speakes and an amp. I installed a hi/low adapter for the amp. So there is a little screw in the little box. You remove that screw pop out the little tray. then you can pull out the rest of the trim around the radio. snaps hold that in as well. there are 4 screws that hold the radio in. remove those and then there you go. you can access the radio harness from there. now this was tha hrd part for me I had to go to a local sterio store to get a conversion after market harness to match up the the original one in the Jeep. after matching the harnes up the color code is like this:

Blue/White- Rear Right +Blue/Orange- Rear Right -

Blue/Grey-Rear Left -Brown/Yellow-Rear Left +

Purple (solid)-Front Right +Blue/Red- Front Right -

Brown/Red Front Left -Green (solid) +

The ones above are clustered together one one side. There is some blank spaces between the left and right bunches.
