How many years of college do you have to do to become a songwriter?

That question i have answered a few times in my life. You dont necessarily have to go to college to be a songwriter. In fact, you can even start right now if you would like. You can write your own songs and then someone plays it and they like the lyrics and from there the circle continues. But if you do want to go to college, it would take less than 2 years to achieve your goal.
