Who wrote the War Poem Thank God for this Great War?

I believe it was written by the Disabled War Poet Tom Weaver. He is a brain damaged former soldier. Many people think he is English because of his strong Yorkshire accent but he is Scottish. He wrote Thank God for this Great War for the Centenary of WW1 and gifted it to Bridgend County Borough Council.
