What does the solar energy become when it is stored in plants?

Most of it is absorbed as heat. The green wavelengths of light are reflected. The blues and reds are used to excite electrons to trigger pathways to create NADPH, ATP and oxygen. Eventually glucose will be made as well. This glucose can then be stored or used in cellular respiration.
