Does garlic come from a farm?

Yes. Most of the US supply of garlic comes from a single farm called Christopher Ranch in the area around Gilroy, California. It is such a big part of the area's economy that the city holds a "Garlic Festival" every year, and refers to itself as "the Garlic Capital of the World".
