Will the Toyota 1mzfe engine work in a 1991 Toyota MR2?

Yes you need the turbo transmission and you will need to fabricate one new motor mount, but it pretty much drops right in, and is actually lighter than the original four banger, because the 1mzfe is all alluminum.
