Secondhand fish tanks are always extraordinarily inexpensive. If you do opt for a secondhand tank, I would suggest a website such as Craigslist or Ebay to do some virtual browsing and then make your selection. However, before buying one off the internet, I would really suggest taking a look at the tank if it is possible to do so! You don't want to end up with a severely damaged tank that may leak or have a variety of other problems. If you do not want a secondhand tank, you can always ask around with your friends who have kept fish in the past or keep fish now. If neither of these options works for you, then I would suggest visiting your local fish/pet store. Some pet stores can offer great deals on Black Friday, New Year's, Christmas sales, etc.
