Yes the cruise boat was formally named "Longfellow". This was with repect to the famous poet of Portland, ME. The Longfellow was a cruise boat with a great captain and narrator by the name of Captain Ross. The boat prior to his ownership had been a ferry on Casco Bay. My father rode her at the tome to and from Cousins Island. The ferry was named "Nellie G III".
