Is there a cream or lotion that can treat keratosis?

There are several safe and effective medications for the treatment of actinic keratoses. These creams or lotions include the following:

• 5-fluorouracil or "5-FU" (Carac® or Efudex®)
• Solaraze® (diclofenac)
• Zyclara™ (imiquimod) Cream, 3.75%

These medications are generally prescribed for several weeks or months.
