They normally feed on a person in his bed when it is dark, but if a torch is shined one or more of them may be seen usually on the lower limbs.They are flat looking reddish brown insects that can be seen with the naked eye about the size of an ant, although bedbug nymphs are smaller than adult bed bugs. They are most likely to have a meal off a person when theyare asleep in their bed just before dawn although may feed on the sleeper at any time almost always during hours of darkness.
