How do peacock develops and grow?

Peacocks, which are the male of the peafowl species, develop from eggs laid by the female peahen. After about 28 days of incubation, the chicks hatch and are precocial, meaning they can walk and feed themselves shortly after birth. As they grow, they undergo a series of molts, gradually developing their distinctive iridescent feathers and long tail, or "train," which can take several years to fully mature.
