If you cut back calories you lose weight. Period. The myth of fat storing if you drastically cut calories is exactly that, a myth. True, your body may temporarily start trying to save extra calories and slow your metabolism, but in a short time that won't even matter. You will drop weight. If this wasn't true we wouldn't have people starving to death all over the world. They would "store fat" instead. That being said, BE CAREFUL! Your body works best with the right combinations of protein, fat, sugars, carbs, and nutrients. You will lose the maximum amount of weight with a strictly controlled HEALTHY diet and exercise. 700 cals a day seems low to me, but if you were careful to make those 700 calories nutrient rich it might work for a short time. Eventually I'm afraid you would start to see loss of muscles, hair, and complexion among other internal issues. Good Luck! If you cut back calories you lose weight. Period.
