Yes there is. After hunting for 35 years, generally pheasant, quail and grouse, I bought my first turkey license in the spring of 2008. Unfortunately I went the whole season without shooting a single turkey. Not one to give up... for the fall turkey season I prepared by purchasing decoys, calls, numerous articles of camouflage clothing, and a Franchi semi auto 12ga. w\ full choke. And then On October 23, 2008 approximately 6:30PM in the area of Ponca Hills, Nebraska I shot my first turkey. While inspecting the bird I discovered it had two beards. The large beard is about 10 inches long and 3/4th of an inch wide. The second beard is located about a quarter of an inch below the main beard and is also about 10 inches long, but is only about 3/16th of an inch wide. That's my story.
