How do you change the alternator in a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500?

Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 alternator. Remove the belt from the alternator. Remove the alternator retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new alternator.
