How do you treat a cat BITE?

First dab the bite and rest it while someone else finds the nearest hospital. Then go to the hospital and if it's deep then you'll get stitches.

Cover the bite in Neosporin and then rap the bite.

Repeat that step every once in a while.

Keep away from water uless it's a shower.

You should go see a doctor as soon as possible. As most of us know some dogs may have rabies which is a type of disease that can be passed on through the blood. Most domesticated dogs wont have rabies if they have had their vaccinations. But even if you are sure the dog has had vaccinations it is highly recommended that you check with a doctor as rabies can be quite harmful.

If it broke the skin start by cleaning and disinfecting the area. Depends on how bad it is. I have been bitten and never went to the hospital. They were just punctures. However, if the puncture is large you might need stitches. Make sure you clean it out with soap and water. Then apply rubbing alcohol to rid any infection and also apply a triple anti-biotic. Keep they area clean, use band-aids and also let the air dry it out from time to time.

if you have been bitten by a dog go to the hospital even if it has only punctured the scin a little then you might get a tetnis to beat any infection it might of gave you

It depends on how big of a wound and where it is. For a general skin-broken bite, clean the wound thoroughly with soap and warm water and apply a dry sterile dressing. If is a very large wound, or on the face, go to your emergency department immediately, applying pressure to the wound with a clean towel. If the dog is unknown or the dog hasn't had vaccinations, it is recommended to go to your doctor for rabies testing/tetanus shots.

I agree, take them to a doctor, better yet the ER! What no antiseptic, just soap and water! Unbelievable!
