A baby mountain lion, also known as a cub, typically weighs around 1 to 2 pounds at birth. They are about 12 to 15 inches long and are covered in spots, which help them blend into their surroundings. As they grow, they will gradually increase in size, gaining weight and losing their spots by around 6 months of age. Adult mountain lions can weigh between 100 to 200 pounds, depending on their sex and habitat.
