Can you straighten your American Girl Doll's hair?

You can get a kit that comes with a spray (Just water) and little plastic rollers.

DO NOT heat the hair, use human utensils on the hair, such as curling or straightening irons, blowdryers, brushes (mini brushes are okay but not ideal) or use any product in it other than the mist provided in the kit. Essentially, just follow the instructions.

It comes with a book telling you exactly how to do this. I'm not sure if they even have the roller kit anymore, that was 6 or 7 years ago.

I'm pretty sure how you do it is you put small sections of the doll's hair into rollers - the smaller the sections the smaller the curls will be) Once the hair is secured in the rolls spray lightly with the mist it comes with, or with a spray bottle filled with JUST WATER. Leave it for about a day or so, then the doll's hair will be curly.
