Where do desert box turtle habitat?

Desert box turtles primarily inhabit arid regions, including deserts and semi-arid areas of the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. They are often found in environments with sparse vegetation, such as scrubland, grasslands, and rocky outcrops, where they can find shelter under rocks, logs, or in burrows.
