How many legs does a woolly bear caterpillar have?

Woolly bear caterpillars have different types of legs on different segments of their bodies. The first three segments have what are known as "true legs" that sport claws as well. The next four segments have false legs, known as "pro legs". The last segment has what is known as a "prop leg."
