In order for one to obtain car motor insurance one must be of legal age to drive and have a valid drivers license. The age could vary depending on the country or even region of ones location. In Canada the age even varies from province to province but generally the age where one can drive solo is 17 and therefore that person would be old enough to obtain car insurance.
