Does pigeon lay egg

The process of laying eggs intervene when a pair is formed and this pair can be :a female pigeon with a male pigeon or a female pigeon with another female pigeon.

On the first case after the pair was formed and the process of mating takes place the female pigeon will lay 2 fertile eggs eggs after 7-10 days .On the other case where two female pigeons formed a pair they both can lay eggs so in the nest will appear after 7-10 days 2 -4 eggs ,but these eggs will not be fertile so there will be no youngsters when the hatching of youngsters is due .
