What is a peer assessment?

Peer assessment is getting feedback on an employee's performance by their coworkers. Often times, performance is assessed only by the supervisor or manager. If you want a more accurate and in depth assessment of an employee's performance, you should speak to the coworkers who are in the trenches with each other.
