How do you remove doghouse on 1990 ford f 150 van?

Sit in the driver's seat - or the passenger seat - and where your foot touches the doghouse there will be a bolt under the carpet on both sides. Remove that from both sides.

Undo latch - Up on the upper back edges there is a latch. Make sure you hold the latch totally open as it has a habit of wanting to re-latch as you pull the doghouse casing towards you. It helps to have two people pull up and take it totally out of the van to work on the motor/starter, etc.
