Do rental cars allow pets

I can only answer for Enterprise Rent-a-Car: we do not allow uncrated pets in rental cars. They shed, and animal hair is very time-consuming to clean out of the vehicle. Dogs, in particular, can be destructive; they chew on things and make a mess with dirty paws and mouths. It's common for people to think we won't notice. But dogs always leave some hallmark evidence of their presence, and we know to look for it.
