The vermilion flycatcher (Pyrocephalus rubinus) undergoes a typical bird life cycle that includes egg, nestling, and fledgling stages. The female lays 2 to 5 eggs in a well-concealed nest, usually located in shrubs or trees. After about 13 to 15 days of incubation, the eggs hatch, and the parents care for the nestlings for about 2 weeks until they fledge. Once fledged, young flycatchers continue to rely on their parents for food and protection as they learn to navigate their environment.
