Will a suzuki gsxr 1100 engine fit a gsxr 750 frame?

If its one of the old models 1986 and up to 1991 I am sure it fits directly in the frame, sine I have a 1985 gsxr 750 myself with a tuned up 1100 engine, but its a dangerous bike because the frame is not stabil enough with so much power.
