Can you put a gecko in a 10 gallon fish tank?

Depending on the species of the gecko will determine if the gecko would require a larger tank or not. A small gecko species would do fine in a 10 gallon tank but larger species such as Tokay geckos or Leachianus gecko would require a larger terrarium.

Also, depending on the specie of gecko will determine if the tank should be of horizontal orient or vertical. A ground welling specie will enjoy a horizontal layout, while an arboreal specie would prefer the vertical.
