Why does alcohol increase urine output?

Alcohol will cause one to urinate more frequently because alcohol is a liquid, and must therefore be expelled from one's body as such.

Alcohol reduces secretion of ADH/Vasopresin, so less water is reabsorbed into the body from nephrons of kidney. This increases the volume of urine produced.
