Ceres was the Roman rendition of Demeter, Greek Goddess of the Harvest. As such, Ceres is a child of Saturn (the Romanized version of Cronus). The fourth child in fact. As to where she was born, Olympus is the shared home of the Olympians, but it is more likely she was born on Mount Othrys, the Titan base and home. Then again, many ancient writers claimed the Titans used mountains for thrones. So she could have been born on any one of the myriad of mountains in Greece. Before her dad ate her, anyway.
