What does 'believe the hype' mean?

"Believe the Hype" means that whatever the phrase is said about is really as good as everyone says... usually meaning that someone is unbelievably cool. :) There may or may not be actual hype (exaggeration) about the person or product, but telling you to believe it is just another way of saying...
