Can you copy the materials from a dongle?

A dongle is a security device, typically used to prevent people from using unauthorized copies of software.

If the dongle was created properly it will be encrypted AND the onboard ROM will not be read enabled. A properly designed dongle will reply when queried, and allow communication port to function normally otherwise.
