Can you sell back corrupt items on runescape?

A corrupt item is like a Degradable version of the real thing, E.G "Corrupt Dragon Chainbody" has the same stats as a normal "Dragon Chainbody" except it degrades after a certain time using it usually between 30-60 Minutes of use. Corrupt items are special because non-members can use them, that's what gives the items their value.
