When does the Elf on the Shelf return?

It depends. Did you touch it? Did you let it be? How did you treat it? All those questions are going to be answered for your elf to come back.

I) If you did touch it, you're elf is probably not going to return. If you read the book, it says to NOT TOUCH YOUR ELF.

II) If you did let your elf do it's own thing, chances are that he's going to come back, but it's nice to talk to them or give them something to do from time-to-time. :)

III)Elves don't require a lot of attention, since they love moving around and bring joy to children, but you do need to be nice to them. Give them some warm cinnamon-sugar milk from time-to-time, or make them a nice scarf for Christmas. The little things will make them happy.

*Cinnamon Sugar Milk(warm!!) is an Excellent choice to keep your elf exceedingly happy, since that is what they truly enjoy. :)

Now, the time an EOTS returns is undetermined, BUT, if you believe, you will receive...and your elf will come back sometime after Turkeyday.
