How do you adjust the automatic clutch on a quadrunner 250 There appears to be some lag in the take-up of the transmission.?

On the right side near the side cover is a nut with a slotted screw in the middle. Loosen the nut and turn the screw counter clockwise until you feel it start to get tight. While holding the nut turn the screw about 1/4 turn clockwise, tighten down the nut.
