How do you fill the water in a 2002 Volkswagen Beetle?

Add coolant to the overflow bottle. USE ONLY VW PINK ANTI-FREEZE!! ________________________________________________________________ VW's historically had air-cooled engines but they now have a closed cooling system. The coolant overflow bottle is part of the pressurized cycling system and this is where you would fill it when it is cool.
