Why does my parakeet have a green Beak?

I dunno, but my parakeet happens to have the same problem too, does urs happen to be a male too like mine....

anyways in an article I've read it said that this might be fungus or bacteria

but the pet shop owner said it was normal, and that most of the male parakeets he has have green beaks while the female's are orange
