How do you respond to que fecha es hoy?

If someone asked you ¿Que fecha es hoy?, it would mean "What date is it today?". The way you would respond to that would be "Es el ____ de _______". You must fill in the first blank with whatever day it is today, and you must fill in the second blank with whatever month it is.. So suppose it was the 2nd of February. If you were going to respond you would say, "Es el dos de febrero.", which would translate to "Today is the 2nd of February." You must always be careful when saying the 1st of ANY month because whenever you say the 1st of a month, you don't say uno, you say primero! Also if you are going to talk about the 31st of a month you would say "Treinta y uno" Which means "Thirty and one", but it really means "Thirty-one".
