Where is the temperature sensor on a 1996 5.7L vortec 350?

On a 1996 5.7L Vortec 350 engine, the temperature sensor, also known as the coolant temperature sensor, is typically located on the intake manifold, near the front of the engine. It's positioned on the driver's side, just above the thermostat housing.
