How do you make your beginner Pokemon shiny in FireRed?

Shiny Pokemon are very, very rare. You have to be extremely lucky to get one as your starter! My Cousins friend actually got SHINY MEWTWO! I'm Still in Shock. Lol. if your poekmon is a little bit lighter, or its a different colour then its Shiny :)

Just restart the game over and over again.
