Could you be pregnant if you missed four pills of birth control on week 3?

It has been a while back, but I had three girlfriends who now have grown children and each girlfriend had a terrible habit of missing then ingesting more than one pill at a time ... By the way, hope the unprotected sex was with someone you know well and trust completely to have not done the same with others.
