Are Renault cars heavy on fuel?

Can only speak for my 1.5 Grand Scenic i am a taxi driver and this is the best car i have ever had for good fuel consumption. I get 50 mpg urban cycle lots of stop starting but on the motorway it Excels on a long run keeping it around 70mph i get over 60 mpg its really good.
