How does a touch screen sense your touch?

There is a continuous flow of signals i.e voltage across the touchscreen. Touching any part of the screen will create a voltage difference in the signals.

This is one ways how touchscreen works. There are varieties of touch sensitive screen available in the market which works on different principle.

Based on the touching point the trajectory is choosen &the user command is executed depending on the location where it has been touched.sequence of commands are executed.

This is all done by a control system which is interfaced with a PC
